Such is the theme of Chehalem Winery’s annual Celebration of the Arts happening this weekend, August 22 & 23, noon – 5 p.m. at the winery. Returning to the show this year is abstract painter and Chehalem label artist Ted Katz. I am signing my wine country murder mystery, An Unholy Alliance, both days. Author and photographer Andy Whipple is signing his Riverwater book and showing his portfolio of photographs taken in Burgundy.
Also featured are Molly Barnes, handblown glass artist; Hilary Eyres, jewelry artist; Jennifer Lee, ceramic artist; watercolor painter Terry Peasley; and oil painter Amy R. Peterson, OPA.
Kit Garoutte will be playing jazz and classical guitar in the cellar. And this is your only chance to taste and purchase some very limited edition Chehalem wines from the winery, including but not limited to the 2006 Ian’s Reserve Chardonnay (Wine Spectator, 93 points).
This is a great, fun event. They always serve good snacks, too. See you there!
It’s onerous to search out educated folks on this topic, but you sound like you understand what you’re talking about! Thanks
