In The Writer's World

So much has happened that I don’t know where to begin. So I will start with THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE launch party at Annie Bloom’s Books last Wednesday night. How can I thank all of you enough? Tons of people attended, Tons of books were sold, and it was just so much fun! This is truly one of the best things about being an author–connecting with readers, answering their questions. It was a wonderful evening. The Man party 1IMGP1387

The other big news is the beautiful bungalow in Lower Hillsdale Heights. On September 21, my house went on the market. We accepted a very nice offer on September 27. My head is still spinning.

By late October I will be relocated to a condominium in Lake Oswego for the foreseeable future (which really isn’t a very long time in the great scheme of things). I could not have conjured up a crazier week. Oh, and there even was a garage sale over the weekend.

Monday I couldn’t move. Tuesday was a bit better, and today I’m almost back to normal. And now, moving forward, there is a new novel to plot, some wonderful plays to be reviewed, along with taking on the responsibility of my life in a new location.

And, at the top of the list, there’s a brand new book to promote. I am looking for help from all of you, my loyal gang of supporters. You can be an Emma Golden Super Friend. Buy the book. Talk about the book to your mystery loving friends. Invite me to do a reading/signing at your book club. Review THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE on Amazon and Goodreads. Those are just a few suggestions of things you can do to turn THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE into a huge success. I’m counting on you all, and thanks!
