I love reading books that are set in my general area! This cliff hanger mystery (set in the Bandon, Or. area) was no disappointment. I laughed many times at the cavalier style of the writer, Judy Nedry—felt like I was was hearing the story in person—right from her lips!! I was in suspense just as soon as Emma and her friend Melody arrived in the Bandon, Oregon area. And the suspense built and surprised me–right up near the end. I had kind of been lulled into a “happily after ending”—just to have the rug pulled out!!! Must read.
