In The Writer's World

Here is the latest on THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE.

In addition to being up on many of the e-book sites (amazon, barnes&noble, etc.), my new e-book has already garnered one very positive review. A milestone for sure! If you are not yet able to find the book on the site where you purchase your e-books, rest assured that things are in the process.

Further, if you covet a free read, the book now may be downloaded via Story Cartel for free–in exchange for an honest review.

By now you are getting the picture in your mind that reviews are a very important part of how indie writers market their books. Your reviews can make a best seller out of a book such as THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE.tmwwt-page-size It works the other way too. If the book doesn’t get lots of reviews it’s just not going to sell a lot of copies. It’s a numbers game, my friends.

So it’s a simple good-will exchange. You get to read my new book for free. In return, I am asking for you to post your opinion. Tell the world what you think and let the chips fall where they may.

In the event you do not have an e-reader, the nice people at Story Cartel also offer the book in epub format. What that means is that you can download a version onto your notebook or computer.

Also, a free kindle reader app can be installed onto your computer. So much to learn with this digital media stuff it is crazy-making, but let me tell you friends, if I can do this anyone can.

I am looking forward to hearing from all of you as you post your reviews on amazon.com and goodreads and get back to me personally about your experience with Emma’s newest adventure.

The other good news is this: I am told I will have paperback books in hand by September 8. Those of you who have pre-ordered your signed and numbered book can look forward to receiving it very soon after that.

And if you’re in the area, please join me at the launch party for THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE at Annie Bloom’s Books in Multnomah Village on Wednesday, September 23. Free, public, reading, signing, Q&A, refreshments. I can’t wait.
