In The Writer's World

Yesterday found the author in Newberg and Dundee getting the novel into more nontraditional outlets.

By nontraditional, I mean wineries and gift shops in Oregon wine country. Since the novel is set there, this is a natural market for winery tourists. I’ve focused my efforts on the wineries and tasting rooms, since these outlets are a natural for the book, and the only way to get it into them is by making the contact in person.

New outlets as of yesterday: Evergreen Vineyards tasting room located at the Evergreen Aviation Museum just outside McMinnville and Inn at Red Hills, a beautiful new 20-room inn/spa/restaurant and wine bar in Dundee. To find out more, just follow the links to the right.

Murder By The Book, a Portland indie bookstore located on SE Hawthorne, also is stocking the book. We’re going to have a signing there on Sunday, September 20 featuring books, wine, and the requisite cheesy bits. I am very excited about this. Details will be forthcoming.
