In The Writer's World

It’s official! The Man Who Wasn’t There will be launched officially on Wednesday, September 23, 7 p.m. at Annie Bloom’s Books in Multnomah Village!

If you can read this you’re invited.

Annie’s is my neighborhood go-to bookstore. Unlike that other Portland bookstore, it probably is not internationally known, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a fixture in the neighborhood. It’s open until 10 p.m. most nights, and there always are people browsing. It not only attracts a plethora of nationally known authors on their way through Portland, but also is a faithful supporter of local authors.

It was my first choice for the launch. They did not have space available when I launched The Difficult Sister, but I did have a signing there a couple months after, and we rocked the place. I just know we can do it again!

tmwwt-page-sizeDetails will be forthcoming in the goodness of time. Meanwhile, I’m busy getting The Man off to the publisher within the next couple of days. You all will be notified when the e-book is up, and publication date for the paperback is still August 25. That date, incidentally, was chosen because two of my all-time favorite mystery writers, Louise Penny and Sue Grafton, also are releasing books that day. It just seemed like the right thing to do.

If you can’t make the signing or just want to get the book early, you may visit the “Books” tab on this website and pre-order right now.
